Anna Lois Dukes, 81, of Paducah passed away at 9:30 AM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her daughter’s residence in Benton.
Mrs. Dukes will always be remembered as a Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a retired Seamstress for Florsheim Shoe Factory, a member of Smithland Baptist Church.
Anna had one son, Ricky Dukes (deceased); two daughters, Teresa Green and husband Lynn of Benton, Monica Dalbey and husband Matthew of Eddyville; five grandchildren, James Green, Joey Green, Gage Lamb, Garrick Lamb, Crystal Kelley; one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Green; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nora (Burgher) Dodds; husband, Encil Deen Dukes; son, Ricky Dukes; three brothers; and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Willis Henson and Rev. Joe Thorn officiating. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemetery in Smithland, KY.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
