Mr. Raymond Jones, age 69, of Benton, KY passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Marshall Co. Hospital E. R. in Benton, KY.
Born Friday, October 31, 1947 in Murray, KY, he was the son of the late Marvin J. Jones and the late Martha (Waldrop) Jones. He was a retired Tire Builder for the General Tire and Rubber Company. He was a member of Vanzora Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Lois Mae (Faughn) Jones of Benton, KY, two sons, Johnny Jones of Benton, KY and Tracy Jones of Grand Rivers, KY, two daughters, Tammy Marani of Benton, KY and Miranda Collins of Benton, KY, two brothers, Ralph Jones of Paducah, KY and James Jones of Benton, KY, five sisters, Janice Elrod of Paducah, KY, Alice Walker of Smithland, KY, Deborah Boyle of Murray, KY, Joanne Keeling of Paducah, KY and Susan Parks of Symsonia, KY, six grandchildren; Austin Jones, Aaron Jones, Gloria Jones, Anna Jones, Emily Marani, and Shantina Marani, two great grandchildren; Colten Marani and Dominic Jones.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Alex Jones.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Vanzora Cemetery, Benton, KY. Rev. Mike Farmer will officiate.
Interment will follow the service in the Vanzora Cemetery.
No public visitation is scheduled.
