Marsha Malone Layne, 58, of Ledbetter formerly of Carlisle County, passed away at 11:42 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Baptist Health. Mrs. Layne was a member of Mississippi Baptist Church in Bardwell. She retired with 30 years of service from Kentucky Social Services.
She is survived by husband, John Layne; sister, Pamela and Gary L. Thomas; step-sons, Justin Layne, Randy and Kelly Layne, Kevin Layne; sister in laws, Elizabeth Tranvelstead, Mary Byrer, Katie Atwell, June Swinford, Beverly Myrick; nephew, Clay Thomas; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents, John W. and Marcella Felts Malone.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Mark Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
