Mrs. Louise Kayse, 95, of Salem, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Kayse enjoyed the arts of embroidery and quilting. Growing flowers and walking were also among her favorite pastime activities. She was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church and American Legion Auxilary, Post 217.
She is survived by her son, Curtis A. Kayse (Martha) of Salem; daughter, Jean Hosick of Burna; sister, Mary Curnel of Salem, KY; niece, Lisa Brasher of Burna, KY; grandchildren, Kim Gray of Burna, KY, Karla Calhoun of Paducah, KY, Scott Kayse of Marion, KY, and Lucinda Barrett of GA; great grandchildren, Kobin Gray, Jed Gray, Silas Gray, Parker Kayse and Lance Kayse; great, great grandchild, Tillette Gray.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Kayse; sister, Grace Adams; brothers, Charles “Doodie” Brasher and Roy Brasher; and her parents Thomas Vernon and Edna Lois Ramage Brasher.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
