Larry Moore, 68, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 27, 1951 in Marion, Kentucky to the late Ray Moore and Bessie Bateman Moore. Larry never met a stranger and loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing and listening to gospel and bluegrass music and was an avid enthusiast of classic cars, antique farm equipment and aviation.
Larry is survived by one daughter, Tricia White (Martin) of St. Louis, Missouri; one son, Peter Moore (Rena) of Paducah; three sisters, Catherine Myers of Gardendale, Alabama, Margaret Grimmett of Christian, West Virginia, Annie Orrick of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; two brothers, Carl Moore of Anna, Illinois, Gary Moore of Marion, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Drew Sheffield, Brett Sheffield, Elise Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Morris Moore, Paul Moore and infant brother, Glen Moore.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Ted Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
A private graveside service for the family will be held on Sunday morning.
