Helen Louise Fletcher Warfield died on December 10, 2016 in Pontotoc, MS.
Helen was born on January 27, 1924 to Rev. and Mrs. Mark Graves Fletcher in Smithland, KY.
She was raised in Smithland and married her childhood sweetheart, Robert Owen Warfield.
Through the years, Helen and Bob lived in Detroit, MI, New Orleans, LA and Bowling Green, KY as Bob pursued his career in the automotive and space industries, retiring back to Smithland in 1987.
Together, they raised three daughters and a son.
Throughout her lifetime, Helen served her family and community selflessly and maintained her devout Christian Methodist faith. She was the consummate homemaker, volunteer, entrepreneur and sang with the voice of an angel.
She delighted her children, grandchildren and many others with her incredible gifts of music, culinary skill and her exquisite handcrafted creations.
She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Dr. Andrea Lee Warfield, daughter Dianne Lynn Hablitzel, and son-in-law Dr. John K. Baldwin.
She is survived by daughter Barbara Warfield Baldwin and son Robert Dean Warfield and wife, Judy.
She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Smithland Cemetery on December 13 at 12:00 noon.
Visitiation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
