Etta Deist, 90, formerly of Smithland. Passed away 11:45 a.m. Friday August 11, 2017 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Calvert City.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Brody of Paducah. And several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband LaVerne Deist and one son.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Smith Funeral Chapel. With the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Interment to follow at Smithland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Monday August 14, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Chapel, Smithland, Kentucky. Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements
