Mr. Emmett Lee Powell, 62, of Carrsville KY, passed from this life at his home on Friday, September 9, 2016.
Mr. Powell was a Deacon at Old Salem Baptist Church, a Trustee of North Livingston Baptist and a member of the Burna Coon Hunters Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Powell of Carrrsville KY; son, Thomas Powell of Murphysboro TN; step-daughter, Joyce (Chris) Rose of Burna KY; sister, Hilda (Norwood) Wright of Paducah KY; and grandson John Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Beatrice Doyle Powell.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with burial to follow in Carrsville Cemetery. .
Friends may visit Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem KY.
