Charlene Walker, 93, of Grand Rivers died Thursday, August 7, 2016 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Mrs. Walker was a retired teamster, and worked in the produce industry. She was also a homemaker and member of Iuka Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Lucille Holbert of Grand Rivers and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Walker; her parents, John and Ollie Pendergrast three brothers, Shorty Pendergrast, Lewis Pendergrast, and Glennie “Cotton” Pendergrast; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, August 8, 2016 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery.
