Mr. Brent Martin, age 43 of Benton, KY died on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Born Wednesday, August 14, 1974 in Paducah, KY, he was a member of Grand Rivers United Methodist Church. He worked 23 years at CCMA, was a 23 year member of UAW and was currently an operator for Paducah Gear & Machine Co. He was also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife Emily (Jones) Martin of Benton, KY, mother Deloris (O'Bryan) Martin of Grand Rivers, KY, brothers, Bryan Martin of Grand Rivers, KY, Robin Martin of Grand Rivers, KY and Robert Martin of Calhoun, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father Charles Robert Martin.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church with Rev. John Bedwell and Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery, Grand Rivers, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8: 00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St, Benton, KY. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church until the funeral hour on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
