Marie “Dolly” Knox, age 80, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015, 8:45 pm., at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.
Marie was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where she served as treasurer and on the Mother’s Board. She was a homemaker.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Lena Crumble Weatherspoon, her husband, Edward Knox, two sons, Edward and Reginald Knox, one grandson, three brothers, and three sisters.
Marie is survived by, Two Daughters, Doris Knox-Dalton of West Peoria, IL and Janice Price of Paducah; Three Sons, Cornelius Knox of Clinton, Danny Knox and Barry Knox; both of Paducah; Five Grandsons; Two Granddaughters; Several Great-Grandchildren; One Brother, Marshall Weatherspoon of Paducah and One Aunt.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 5954 State Route 123 West, Oakton, Kentucky, with Reverend Anthony Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
The family will also receive visitors Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
