Larry Wayne Edging, age 63, of Burkley, Kentucky, passed away on November 9, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Larry was born on October 14, 1956 to the late Johnny “J.N.” Nathan Edging and Dorothy Jo Gurley Edging. He worked for 20 years on the river before starting a career as a long haul truck driver. Larry was a fun loving man who made everyone smile. His daughter, Holly and grandson, Oakley were the loves of his life. His other passion was for barbequing and loved to cook for friends and family whenever he had the chance.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Holly Nicole Edging of Paducah; one sister, Janice Carol Byerley and husband, James W. of Lovelaceville; one brother, Donald Clay Edging of Robert Lee, Texas; one grandson, Oakley James Penrod; one step-son, Cody Meng of Central City, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Deborah Carol Edging; one step-daughter, Marqua Lewis; his grandparents, Fuzzy and Bessie Lee Crews Edging.
Funeral services for Larry will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Max Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the funeral home.
