Lara Monell Rogers, 91 of Columbus, passed away at 5:47 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at ICF Nursing Home in Clinton.
Mrs. Rogers worked for Curlee Clothing Company in Mayfield, KY.
She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Summers and husband Robert of Farmington, KY; two sons, William Rogers, Jr. of Columbus, KY, and Charles Rogers of Columbus, KY; one sister, Uneda Burgess of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, David Mofield of Columbus, KY, and Donald Mofield of Snellville, GA; two grandchildren, Jason Summers of Peachtree City, GA, and Jessica Moore of Leavenworth, KS; four great grandchildren, Sydney Summers, Skye Summers, Harper Moore, and Finley Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Rogers; one daughter, Marie Rogers; four sisters, Jeanette Riley, Omeda Coates, Ulah Lamm, and Beulah Mofield; and one brother, Owen Mofield. Her parents were Willis and Tina Thomason Mofield.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Max Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Burkley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the funeral home.
