Jimmy Cox
James Lee “Jimmy” Cox, 72 of Clinton, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and retired from General Tire in Mayfield. He is survived by his wife Wanda Byassee Cox, 2 sons, Jeff Cox and Grady (Jennifer) Cox both of Paducah, daughter, Glenda (Brent) Dublin of Clinton, 5 sisters; Bonnie Rogers, Charlene Voyles, Annie Cox, Marilyn Ring, all of Clinton, and Brenda Martin of California; 2 brothers, Larry Cox and Fred Cox, both of Clinton, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His parents were John Allan and Edith Corin Lynch Cox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Larry Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery.
