Ms. Anna Katherine Griffith Wooten, age 89 of Clinton passed away 3:18 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center. She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church and a Homemaker.
She is survived by her Son, James William (Rhonda) Wooten of Clinton, MS; Daughter, Cathy Wooten (Kenneth) Black of Clinton, KY; 4 Grandchildren, Erik Blaine (Monique) Wooten of Clinton, MS, Jason Black, Jeremy (Angela) Black and Justin Black all of Clinton, KY; 8 Great Grandchildren, Aidan James Wooten and Zoe Michelle Wooten both of Clinton, MS, Anna Grace Black, Kylee Elizabeth Black, Case James Black, Madison Alexis Black, Addley Dianne Black and Everleigh Ray Black all of Clinton, KY; Several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ward Wooten; Parents, William Dewey and Emma Lee Craddock Griffith; Brother, Mack Woodward and Sister Mildred Woodward Bugg.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Charles Blair and Rev. Ian Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 AM on Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
