Mr. Rollie Nelson Henson, age 92 of Benton, KY passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born Thursday, June 17, 1926 in McCracken Co., KY, he was the son of the late Rollie Newton Henson and the late Tyleen (Duncan) Henson.
He was a electrician for Riley Electric and a member of IBEW Local 816 of Paducah, KY, a member of the T.L. Jefferson Masonic Lodge #622 F&AM and Oak Valley Church of Christ, Benton, KY.
Surviving are daughter, Cindy Henson Yates, husband Craig of Lone Oak, KY, son, Solon Michael Henson, wife Yvette of Murray, KY, sister, Relma Swearingen of Reidland, KY; daughter in law, Barbara Henson, Symsonia, KY; 9 grandchildren; Lori Guill, Allison Forness, Kim Holloway, Kyle Yates, Aimee Singleton, Emily Jones, Kayce Yates, Brooke Grow, Nathan Henson and 21 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild, 1 neice and 2 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Richard N. Henson, granddaughter, Stephanie Henson and brother, Ellis Henson.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY, with David Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
