Rena June Smith, 80, of Kevil, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital.
Mrs. Smith was born on February 6, 1937 to John and Lucille Hamilton Dennis in Wickliffe, KY. She graduated from Ballard Memorial High School. She was an avid bowler and UK Basketball fan, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jimmie Smith; one son, Terry Smith of Taylor, MI; one daughter, Debi Smith of Canton, MI; two sisters, Amy Edwards of Barlow and Sylvia Moore of Lexington, KY; two brothers, John Dennis of Metropolis, IL, Donnie Dennis of Wickliffe, KY; and two grandchildren, Colin and Christian Chichester of Canton, MI.
Rena is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles Dennis.
Services will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Scott Fickes officiating. A private burial will follow the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service.
