Michelle McNeill, age 53, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her residence, following an extended illness. Michelle was born in Mayfield, Kentucky to Jimmy and Sandra Johnson Tidwell. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harmon and Robbie Tidwell; and her maternal grandparents, W.C. “Red” and Dot Johnson.
Michelle worked as the office manager at Ken Wandell (State Farm) Insurance and was a member of Elizabethton Church of Christ. She loved horses, hiking, cooking, flowers, working in the yard, being outdoors, photography and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Mark M. McNeill, of the home; a brother, Mykel Tidwell and wife Amber, of Mayfield, KY; and two nephews, Jace Tidwell and Weston Tidwell, both of Mayfield, KY. Several aunts and cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends for Michelle McNeill from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2017 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield, Kentucky with Mr. Mykel Tidwell, officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM on Tuesday.
