Mrs. Mary Josephine Cleaver, 91, formerly of Murray, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center in Clarksville, TN.
Mrs. Cleaver was born on November 1, 1925 in Calloway County to Eugene and Onie Mae Grubbs Darnall. She was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Cleaver; a brother, Eugene Darnall Jr.; and two sisters, Geraldine Cunningham and Robbie Knipp.
Mary is survived by two sons, Danny Cleaver, wife Shirley, of Bowling Green, Ky. and Darrell Cleaver, wife Vicki, of Smyrna, TN; a sister, Reba Crouse of Murray; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are planned for 1 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. John Dale will officiate. Burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens. Brad Cleaver, Kevin Cleaver, Jason Powers, Mark Powers, Tim Powers and Alan Jourden will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive visitors from 12-1 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
