Mrs. Martha Nell Conner, age 96 of Benton, KY passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Lake Way Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, KY.
Born Saturday, August 6, 1921 in Olive, KY, she was the daughter of the late Amos York and the late Lena (Hill) York. She was a homemaker, worked at Meritt Clothing in Mayfield, KY and was a member of the Olive Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons, Larry Conner of Fairdealing, KY, Joe Conner of Benton, KY and Jack Conner of Benton, KY, brothers, Holland York of Symsonia, KY, Ed York of Olive, KY and Bobby Joe York of Olive, KY, sisters, Lorene Barns of Benton, KY, Katherine Frizzell of Benton, KY, Rosemary Todd of Kirksey, KY and Molene Rudd of Benton, KY; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 73 years, Euclid Conner, by brothers, James York, Reece York, Myrl "Dink" York, Donald York, Paul York and Guy York, sister, Lola Mae Jackson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Todd Dotson will officiate.
Interment will follow ther service in the Horn Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
