Mr. Justin Burkeen, 31, of Paducah, formerly of Murray, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his home. Justin was born on April 20, 1987 in Murray, KY to Michelle Hale Burkeen. He was a 2005 graduate of Calloway County High School and afterwards he attended Murray State University. He was a member of Temple Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving him are his parents, Jason and Michelle Burkeen of Dexter, KY; a daughter, Breelyn Everly Burkeen of Dexter, KY; two brothers, Jacob and Jesse Burkeen of Dexter, KY; a sister, Amy Burkeen of Dexter, KY; grandparents, Larry and Anna Faye Hale of Dexter, KY and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Burkeen; his girlfriend, Christina Driskill of Paducah, KY; a half sister, Kailyn Burkeen of Murray, KY; a half brother, Zack Burkeen of Benton, KY; cousins, Wesley and Haley Hounshell of Dexter, KY; aunt and uncle, Rodney and Kim Hounshell of Dexter, KY and Kenneth and Ellen Burkeen of Benton, KY. The funeral service for Justin is set for Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 12 PM at the Heritage Chapel of Imes Funeral Home, 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray. Kendrick Lewis will officiate and burial will follow. Pallbearers are Wesley Hounshell, Jacob Burkeen, Jessie Burkeen, Ryan Stanger, Matt Harris and Zack Burkeen. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Heritage Chapel. Online condolences available at www.imesfh.com.
