Mr. John W. Kraay, 49, of Hardin, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at his residence.
John was born on April 5, 1969 in Watseka, IL to Wesley and Shirley Kraay. He loved to spend time with his family and fishing was his hobby. John was an avid chef as he loved to cook. Among other things, he loved to ride four wheelers and gaze at the stars.
Those who preceded him in death include his mother, Shirley Saxsma Kraay and a sister, Victoria Kraay; a grandfather, John Oliver Kraay.
Surviving is his father and step mother, Wesley and Dianne Kraay of Hardin who faithfully cared for their son until the end; three sons; two brothers, Terry Kraay (Wendy) of California, Rick Kraay (LuAnn) of Watseka, IL; two sisters, LeAnne Robinson (Bill) of Gilman, IL, Sheila Minard of Watseka, IL; his grandmother, Marjorie Kraay and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
