Emma Gene Fox

Emma Gene Fox, 86, of Almo, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.

Born on April 11, 1929 in Cadiz, KY to the late John Garland and Drucilla Hargrove Garland, Mrs. Fox was a homemaker and was a member of the Dexter Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Fox, two brothers, Bill Garland and Bruce Garland. six sisters, Christine Downs, Margaret Downey, Peggy Downey, Mary Futrell, Ailene Colson and Betty Mitchuson and one son in law, Skeeter Smith.

Mrs. Fox is survived by three sons, J.D. Fox (Brenda) of Hammond, IN; William "Pete" Fox (Joyce) of Murray and Chester Fox (Sherry) of Murray; two daughters, Betty Smith of Almo and Tina Oliver of Tulsa, OK; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  

A graveside service is scheduled for 2 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Paul Bogard officiating.
