Mr. Donovan Lee Powell, age, 81 of Benton, KY passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY.
Born Wednesday, August 12, 1936 in Flint, MI. He was a member of the Alaska Iron Workers local 751, Anchorage, AK. He proudly served 8 years in the United States Army. Mr. Powell was of the Baptist Faith
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Powell of Benton, KY, brother, JC Powell II, of Kenai, AK, sisters, Sue Lane of Benton, KY and Nita Burke of Benton, KY, also two grandchildren, Leah Andrews of Oak Grove, KY and Joseph Durbin of Mayfield, KY.
Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his wife, Patrician Ann (Voyles) Powell, his father, JC Powell and mother, Dorothy (Lewis) Powell, one sister, Carol Ann Cox.
A memorial visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
