Dennis Beard, 53, of Hickory passed away at 1:02 pm on Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 at his parents’ home as a result of a firearm accident.
Dennis was a former member of the Carpenters Local 357, and had worked for Ohio Valley as a Truck Driver.
He is survived by his parents Jerry and Judy Purcell Beard of Boaz; one daughter, Amanda Falckhoorian; two sons, David Beard of Hickory, Daniel Beard of Johnson City IL; one brother, Duane Beard of Hickory; two grandchildren; and his grandmother Louise Purcell of Paducah.
Funeral Services for Dennis will be 11:00 am Friday, February, 28, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Larry McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
