Clifton Wallace, 90, of Symsonia, passed away at 11:55 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah.

 

Mr. Wallace was a self-employed home builder, a veteran of the US Army during WWII, a member of American Legion Post 31, and of the Baptist faith.

 

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Janet (Copeland) Wallace of Symsonia; three sons, Gary Louis (Pat) Wallace of Symsonia, J.C. (Kathleen) Wallace of St. Petersburg, FL, and Randy (Colleen) Wallace of Symsonia; seven brothers, James (Marlene) Wallace of Paducah, Donald (Joyce) Wallace of Paducah, Edwin (Colleen) Wallace of Reidland, Dan (Janette) Wallace of Symsonia, Larry (Linda) Wallace of Reidland, Preston (Kathleen) Wallace of Atlanta, GA, and John Wallace of Symsonia; two sisters, Judith Dyer of Blairsville, GA, and Nancy (Lynn) Jones of Calvert City; two sister-in-laws, Willobee Wallace of Symsonia and Pat Wallace of Lone Oak; five grandchildren, Adam (Tara) Wallace, Kristen (Matt) Owens, Bradley (Jessica) Wallace, Justin Wallace, and Aidan Wallace; three great-grandchildren, Cierra (Steven) Buckner, Emily Owens, and Benjamin Wallace; two great-great-grandchildren, Dahlia Buckner and Lucian Buckner.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James K. and Nola V. (Willie) Wallace; three sisters, Louise Sullivan, Elizabeth Moyers, and Martha Suggs; two brothers, Edward Wallace and David Wallace.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Richard Dobbs officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations made to Oaks Church of God, 4830 Oaks Rd., Paducah, KY 42003.
