Charles Jones

Mr. Charles Jones, 69, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital. Mr. Jones was born December 24, 1947 to the late Charles and Joanna Sevenski Jones. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired carpenter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a stepmother, Jessie McLeod. Survivors include two sons, Michael Jones of Murray and Andrew Cunningham of Kirksey; three daughters, Christine Pennington of Commerce Michigan., Shawnery Crass (Michael) of Murray, Sydney Jones of Murray; four brothers, Terry Jones of Deltona FL., Rick Jones (Valerie) of Shallotte NC., Jackey McLeod of Murray, Jeff McLeod (Sheryl) of Murray; two sisters, Danita Houston of Murray, Barbara Lane (Michael) of Benton, seven grandchildren, Stephanie Pennington, Travis Pennington, Morgaen Crass, Jordan Crass, Jacey Crass, Keaton Cunningham, Kylee Cunningham; four special friends, Sally Wendel, June Jones, Elaine Edwards, Maurita Smith; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service is set for 3 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray with Curtis Rice officiating.
