Billy Joe Smotherman

Mr. Billy Joe Smotherman, 77, of Murray, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice House. Mr. Smotherman was born October 25, 1939 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Ruby Smotherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Milby, Jack Smotherman and Charles Smotherman; a sister, Bessie Williams; two grandchildren, Thomas and Curtis Smotherman. Survivors include his wife, Mary Smotherman of Murray; two sons, Terry Smotherman of Murray and Johnny Hendon (Debbie) of Crawfordsville IN; two daughters, Tammy Graves (Jeff) of Puryear, TN, and Tonya Smotherman (Jeff Mitchuson) of Murray; a sister, Peggy Prescott of Murray; three Grandchildren, Mackensie Timmons, JJ Hendon and Tonya Hendon.
