Shelly Elwood Batts, age 73, of Wickliffe, KY passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Batts was owner and operator of Hillhouse Naturals in Wickliffe, KY. He was a member of the Cairo Flying Club and over 50 year member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc.) He was a member of Blandville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Mr. Batts is survived by his wife of 49 years, Peggy Lowder Batts; his son, Dr. Greg Batts and wife Lori of Melber, KY; his daughter, Tracy Lynn Sullivan and husband Brent of Kevil, KY; one brother, Gary Batts and wife Dollie of Paducah, KY; and his grandson, Blake Sullivan of Kevil, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Frances Tilford Batts.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Dee Hazelwood officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 12:00 pm service time on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Wickliffe.
