Larry Winston Laster,
65, of Hickman, Ky., passed away peacefully at 12:17 p.m. on Friday, July 14,
2017, at Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Born April 9, 1952, in
Hickman, KY, the son of the late Chester
& Audry (Wilson) Laster.
He was
a U.S. Army veteran serving a tour in the Vietnam War. His
patriotism, love of country & fellow man continued throughout his
life. Larry truly lived life to the fullest & enjoyed being
outdoors & gardening.
Survivors
include his wife, Donna (Wilson) Laster of
Hickman; his step-son Douglas C. Laster of
Union City; two step-daughters, Rebecca (Laster) Dunlap
of Mount Juliet and Ginger (Laster) Chronister of Parsons, five
brothers; Charles Laster of Paris,
Wayne Laster of Hickman, JamesLaster of Palmersville, the
late Douglas & Steve Laster; three sisters,
Virginia (Laster) Bloodworth & Marcella Laster, both of Dyersburg, and Shirley (Laster)
Martin of Martin; six grandchildren, one great
grandson& many beloved nieces & nephews.
The
family will host a celebration of life at his home, 2207 Clay Street in
Hickman, on Saturday,
July 22nd beginning
at 5 p.m. Bro. Henry
Callison to officiate in a short ceremony followed by meal
& reception. All family & friends are welcome to join us.
In lieu
of flowers, the family request you make a charitable contribution to the
East Baptist Church.
