Steve Austin Moyers, 76, of Cunningham, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Countryside Center.
Steve was born on July 28, 1943 to the late Loyd Moyers and Leoma Sanderson Moyers. He worked for Cotton Belt/Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of the Eagles Club of Cape Girardeau. He had a great sense of humor, was good hearted and made friends with everyone. Steve was always kind and generous. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kathy Moyers; two daughters, Missy Fischer (Kirk) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Amy Read (Erik) of Springfield, Missouri; one step-daughter, Robin Mirly (Doug) of Ballwin, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kohri Kempker (Kyle), Kahli Fischer; two great grandchildren, Aurora Nicole Wallendorf, Peyton Renea Kempker; three step grandsons, James (Buddy) Williams, Michael Williams and Jeremy Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Gilbert Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow the service at Zoar Cemetery in Cunningham.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
