Verschueren, Reva Mae

Reva Mae Hobbs Verscheuren, 101, of Boaz, Kentucky passed away at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Carlisle County, Kentucky. Reva was retired from General Motors where she was a Sewing Machine Operator. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, United Auto Workers Union and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Reva is survived by her son, Gerald D. Hobbs and wife, Joyce of Macomb, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Tom & Glenda Houser, Kathy & Roger Jett, Karen & Mike Futrell, Tony & Krista Houser, Kim and Kevin Kuntz, Jill & Jim Aleo, Jerry Hobbs, Chris & Debi Hobbs and Mark Hobbs; eighteen great grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Hobbs and John A. Verschueren; daughter, Mary Imogene Houser and husband Bud; brothers, J.P. Davenport, Noel Davenport, Vernon Davenport and Marvin Davenport. Her parents were Lloyd Emanuel Davenport and Bessie Mae Sullivan Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
