Raymond Fortuna, 88 of Arlington, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home.
He worked in quality control for Detroit Steel Products and was a United States Air Force Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed making and sharing his ceramic crafts with friends and at flea markets and working in his garden.
Mr. Fortuna is survived by one sister, Wanda Glowacz of Madison Heights, MI; one nephew, Richard Glowacz and wife Cathy of Chesterfield, MI; and one niece, Marianne Belluni of Saginaw, MI.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Denton Fortuna; two sisters; and two brothers. His parents were Thomas and Mary Granda Fortuna.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Max Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
