Laura “Cookie” Byassee, 72, of Arlington, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Clinton Place.
Laura was born in Burkley, KY on July 8, 1947 to the late Thomas and Jenice Quillen. She was a labratory tech aid at Western Baptist Hospital and was very family oriented. She was of the Baptist faith.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Traci Leigh Byassee of Burkley; two sons, Richie Don Byassee of Paducah and Jon Robert Mann of Paducah; one sister, Ginger Luedke of Troy, TN; three grandchildren, Kadee Perry, P.J. Jones, IV, and Jessica Byassee; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Martha Copeland, and one brother, Thomas Wayne Quillen.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Burkley Cemetery with P.J. Jones, IV officiating.
