Josie Lee Caughlin, 93, of Cunningham, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018.
She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was born on January 25, 1925 in Ballard County to Charlie and Addie Polivick Rials.
Josie is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Ann Mabry and husband Sammy of Benton, Charlene Deweese and husband Troy of Kevil, Linda Tharp of Cunningham; one son, Gary Higgins and wife Brenda of Bardwell; one step-son, Michael Caughlin; two sisters, Alice Seehusen of LaCenter, June Rollins of LaCenter; nine grandchildren, Charles Mabry, Brad Deweese, Belinda Crump, Kim James, Andrea Swain, Shelly Cornett, Justin Tharp, Nathan Higgins, James Higgins; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Thomas Higgins; second husband, Carl Milton Caughlin; one step-daughter, Carla Caughlin; two sisters, Jane Hettig and Ruth Brunson; one brother, John Rials and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Bro. Troy Deweese officiating. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Bardwell chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
