Ernie R. Brown, age 66, of Bardwell, KY passed away at 1:30 a.m. on November 9, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital. Mr. Brown was a member of Mississippi Baptist Church. He was an E-5 in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He worked for ICG Railroad Shops for 13 years and for General / Continental Tire in Mayfield, KY for 21 years. He was also a member of USWA Local 665.
He is survived by wife, Gwynellen Sims Brown; daughter, Kelli Jean and Bernie Edging of Bardwell; son, Casey R. and Tiffany Brown of Cunningham; brother, Mark and Christie Brown of Cunningham; sister, Caren and Glenn McLemee of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren, Chaney Brown and Chayton Brown of Cunningham, Makena Edging and Gracyn Edging of Bardwell. He was also survived by nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Ernest Eulee and Eva Mae Partin Brown.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn cemetery, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Revs. Mark Burnett and Rodney Bice officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
