David H. Myrick, 82, of Paducah passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Myrick was born at the Riverside Hospital in Paducah on August 25, 1934. He attended St. Mary’s Academy, Paducah Community College, Mid Continent University, and Murray State University before getting drafted to serve his country in the U.S. Army.

He was retired from the City of Paducah as a fire marshal and from USEC. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the NBA and St. Louis Cardinals.

David is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sharon Myrick of Paducah; two daughters, Misty (Todd) Anderson of Paducah, and Sunney (Chip) Hinman of Springfield, IL; five grandchildren, Jeffery Byram, Justin Byram, and Jansen Byram all of Paducah, Alayna Hinman and Ash Hinman both of Springfield, IL; one great-grandson, Brantley “Lil B” Byram of Paducah; two sisters-in-law, Betty Myrick of Ledbetter, and Dorothy Myrick of Michigan; one special nephew, Eugene Pace of Paducah; and a host of other special nieces and nephews.

Together- For those who have found their true partner in love and life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Jessie Myrick; four brothers; and three sisters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
