Dale “Catfighter” Terry, age 76, of Burkley, died at 9:45 pm Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Countryside Center in Bardwell, Ky. Mr. Terry was retired from General Tire Plant in Mayfield after 37 years of service. After retirement, he worked in the pro shop at Oak Hill country club in Clinton for 12 years. He was a member of Bardwell Masonic Lodge #499 and the Burkley Baptist Church.
He is survived by three sons; Kim Terry and wife Melchora of Bardwell, Shayne Terry and wife Phyllis and Rodney Terry and wife Leslie all of Lowes, Ky. and Timmy Terry and wife Michelle of Bardwell, Ky., one sister; Janice Frantz and husband Gary of Clinton, Il. , eight grandchildren; Justin Terry, Amber Clapp, Alyssa Daugherty, Courtney Terry, Sadie Terry, Janna Terry, Jesse Terry, Albert Terry, and three great grandchildren.
Preceding him is death was his parents; Elwood Terry and Geneva Watson Terry, and one son; Dale Watson Terry Jr.
Funeral services for Dale Terry will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday October 4, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Rev. Mark Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkley Cemetery. Friends can call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Masonic services at 7:00 pm.
