Catherine Barclay Dubrock, 85, of Arlington, KY, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side at 2:47 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Alongside her loving husband of 65 years, Catherine was co-owner and bookkeeper for Dubrock Drugs in Arlington, KY for 31 years.  She balanced a rewarding life of mother to six children and volunteered tirelessly in the community.  Catherine attended Murray State University, was a member of the Arilngton Lions Club Auxiliary, member of the Jayceettes, and the Arlington Women’s Club.   She was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the United Methodist Women and the cornerstone for many of the support services provided by her church.  Catherine had a passion for lifting others up through her faith in God and in giving of her time and resources to those in need throughout her community.

Growing up in Arlington, her parents, the late L.H. and Mary Cutchin Barclay, established the town’s first funeral home and hardware store.  Catherine had a deep appreciation of music, especially playing the piano, and enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her beautiful flowers.  She enjoyed traveling and even went as far as Australia.  Her true love, however, was time spent with her six children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
