Wayne Elliott Moss, age 77, passed away at his residence in Wickliffe at 1:52 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21. 2015.
He was a member,deacon, and trustee of Cane Creek Baptist Church,a Kentucky Colonel, and the first Ballard Countian to receive the Future Farmers of America American Farmer Degree. He was an independent insurance agent for fifty years and was a top level independent distributor with NSA for twenty four years.
He is survived by his wife, Janis Jeanene Moore Moss of Wickliffe; his daughter, Starla Dawn Moss of Wickliffe; his son, Barry Kent Moss and wife Marta of Wickliffe; his sisters, Mayetta Leigh and husband, Rodney of Wickliffe and Barbara Moss Fisher of LaCenter; his grandchildren, Michael Brown of Bardwell and Trisha Lucas of Blandville and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Elliott and Inez Sullivan Moss.
Services will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Steve Turner will officiate and burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery. Visitation will be held at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe on Thursday, July 23, 2015 beginning at 10:00 a.m. till service time.
