Shirley Ann Boyd, 74, of Paducah passed away on Thursday May 14, 2015 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.
Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker and member of Concord United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Philip E. Boyd of Paducah; five children, Ron (Teresa) Hyatte of Kevil, Diane (Jimmy) Boyd McDevitt of Seminole, FL, Dee (Earl) Gordy of Benton, Philip Dennis (Ann) Boyd of Owasso, OK, Brian Keith (Penny) Boyd of Old Hickory, TN; four sisters, June Blythe, Peggy Yates, Linda Johnson all of Paducah, Sharon Stovall of Greenville, KY; twenty grandchildren, Lindsey Boyd, Alexander Boyd, Garrison Boyd, Landon Boyd, Meredith Kelley, Morgan Hyatte, Reno Bodell II, Brandon Bodell, Cody Bodell, Nicole Vincent, Kristen McDevitt, Kristi Cates, Aaron Truitt, Shane Loesch, Jeff Gordy, Amy Burchett, Sara Gordy, Greg Gordy, Josh Gordy, Jake Gordy; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Yates and Vernon Louis Yates. Her parents were Louis M. Yates and Ollie Mae Yates.
Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
