James Kerry Brown, 71, of Paducah passed away at 2:20 AM Friday, August 12, 2016 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Brown was a retired car salesman and a member of Southland Baptist Temple.
He is survived by his mother, Minnie Jo (Bowlin) Smith of Kevil; one son, Jeffrey Ray Brown of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter, Sonya Renee (Brown) Holton of Mayfield; two brothers, Mickey Brown of Paducah, Daryl Smith of Calvert City; two sisters, Cheryl “Tug” (Brown) Strader of Paducah, Tana Jo Miller of Kevil; two grandchildren, Wesley Massie and Stacey Holton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James K. Brown; step father, Homer C. Smith; one sister, Jeannie (Brown) Barnes; three brothers, Bobby Brown, Jerry Brown, Kenneth Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Symsonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
