Charles Ernest Walker, age 80, of Wickliffe, KY passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Walker was the owner and operator of Walker’s Heating and Air for 40 years. Mr. Walker was very active in his community while serving as a member of the Shriners, The Scottish Rites of Freemasonry and the Masonic Lodge No. 615. He was a Kentucky Colonel and member of Columbus Baptist Church.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Eva Yarbrough Walker; two daughters, Cathy Byassee of Bardwell, KY and Charva Dare of Cape Coral, FL; one sister, Betty Lee Hite of Wickliffe, KY; five granddaughters who were affectionately known as “Charlie’s Angels”; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Walker and Katherine Jones Allen, and one brother.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Ricky Yarbrough and Rev. Kenneth Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow in the Burkley Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe. Masonic Rites will be held at 7:00 pm.
