Carolyn Jean Halteman

Carolyn Jean Halteman, age 73, of LaCenter, previously of Wickliffe, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

The beloved daughter of Joe and Morine Halteman, she was born on December 21, 1944 in Cairo, Illinois.  Carolyn was blessed with a loving family and many special neighbors, friends and cousins.  She attended Wickliffe School.  She shared with her twin sister a love of music and all kinds of animals, especially birds in nature.

Surviving her are two sisters, Judy Gill of Gage and Gloria Butterbaugh and husband John of Wickliffe; a nephew, Chris Halteman and wife Kristy of Wickliffe; and a great niece, Gemma Rose Halteman of Wickliffe; an aunt, Patsy Simmons of Cairo; and numerous cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Marilyn Halteman, and a brother-in-law, Byron Gill.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Rev. Rhea Bowles officiating.  Burial services will follow at Wickliffe City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
