Wonda Jean (Garner) Krone of Paducah, was born on June 23, 1937 and passed away at the age of 80 at 8:00 AM on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Krone had worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory, Charter Hospital and Lourdes Hospital, she was a member of Southside Eagles Club of Paducah, VFW of Paducah and attended Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kay Beckman and husband Larry of Metropolis, IL; one son, Kerry D. Childers and wife Karen of Paducah; two step-sons, Richard Krone of Paducah, Larry Krone of Possum Trot; two brothers, Chester Garner of Symsonia, Curtis Garner of Paducah; seven grandchildren; two step-grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Krone; parents, Ernest and Lena Garner; one son, Jerry Childers; one brother, Joe Garner.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery in Marshall County.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the funeral home.
