Rose Ann Taylor, 85, of Paducah passed away at 10:54 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Lourdes Hospital. She was born in Metropolis, IL. Rose Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Metropolis. She was retired from Bonifield Trucking Company.
Rose Ann is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Taylor Smith and husband Rex of Paducah; grandchildren, Jay Smith, Sam Smith, Callie Smith Foster and Gabbi Smith; one great granddaughter, Charlie Foster; sister, Gerrie Rushing of Paducah and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Taylor; brother, Bob Kotter; sisters, Adeline Edwards, Alice Galliher Dunn, Helen Causer, Mary LaVeau and Phylis Garner. Her parents were Theodore Kotter and Anna Kotter Armstrong.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Massac Memorial Gardens in Metropolis, IL with Dr. Gary Rushing and Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating.
