Richard “Dickie” James, 68 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away Wednesday at his home. He was a member of the local Carpenters Union #640 and an accomplished musician.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Faye of Metropolis, one daughter; Carol Wood of Rosebud, one sister; Sandra Sundmacker of Rosebud, and one grandson; Craig Allen Wood of Rosebud.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter; Cheryl Ann James.
There will be a memorial service on Monday, March 31st beginning at 2pm at Antioch Baptist Church in Rosebud, Illinois with Rev. Jerry Parr officiating.
