Mildred Cozart, 79, of Karnak, died Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at Daystar Nursing and Rehab of Cairo, IL. Mildred was a retired nurse from Southgate Nursing and Rehab of Metropolis and attended Family Worship Center of Metropolis.
Mildred is survived by her husband, James Cozart of Karnak; two daughters, Stacy (Daniel) Bertrand of Grand Chain, and Michelle ( Ben) Skelton of Metropolis; one sister, Susie Isgrigg of Paducah; one brother, Gordan Smith of Brookport; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Magdaline Riley Smith; one sister, Barbara Morehead; one brother, Jack Smith; and one son, Willie Lagore.
Memorial services were held at Family Worship Center on Saturday, November 21st, 2015 at 2pm with Pastor Brenda Rust and Minister Ramona Stacy officiating.
