Michael Dean Johnson, 41, of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019.
Michael was born in Paducah, Kentucky on December 30, 1977 to Harold and Nancy Johnson. He was an ordained minister who loved the Lord and all of God’s creation, which produced in him a special love for all animals. He will be remembered for his enjoyment in wearing cowboy hats and the important place his family held in his heart.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Heather Rochelle Adams; his daughter, Tiffany Johnson; his mother, Nancy Holderfield Johnson; his brother, Chris Johnson; his special friend, Tracy Sackatook; his step daughters; Annette Sarratt Thomas, Rosemarie Hayden and step sons; Johnny Gobin, Matthew Brimberry; church family (sister) Angel Hicks (father) Pastor Charles Dunbar (sister) Britney Dunbar.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Harold D. Johnson; his first wife, Sharon Johnson; his brother-in-law Jimmie Scheaffer.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Bishop Charles Dunbar will officiate.
