Melva Padgett, 91, a resident of 2107 Jackson St. in Paducah, died at 6pm on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 at Superior Care Nursing Home of Paducah.
Melva was a retired factory worker for Florshiem Shoe Co. and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Toni (Douglas) Wells of Cincinnati, OH.; and one grandson, Dayne Wells of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William “Ed” Padgett.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens starting at 1pm with Rev. Joe Beal officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Martha’s Vineyard in Paducah, or Project Hope Humane Society of Metropolis, IL.
